Several major European airports have experienced significant disruptions recently due to various incidents. Munich Airport was forced to close operations for the second consecutive day following multiple drone sightings, resulting in numerous flight cancellations and delays affecting over 6,500 passengers. Similarly, Germany's Stuttgart Airport faced delays and cancellations after a cable fire damaged power supply systems, including runway lighting, although no passengers were harmed. In the Netherlands, Schiphol Airport canceled at least 150 flights due to Storm Amy, which brought severe wind gusts causing operational challenges. These events highlight ongoing vulnerabilities in airport operations due to both security threats and weather-related disruptions across Europe.
