Suspect Charged in Fatal LA Bus Hijacking

Lamont A. Campbell, 51, has been charged with murder, kidnapping, robbery, and carjacking following the hijacking of a Los Angeles Metro bus that resulted in the death of passenger Anthony Rivera. The incident began when Campbell boarded the bus and held the driver at gunpoint, leading to a police chase through downtown LA. During the hijacking, he shot Rivera, who was returning home from his job at Dodger Stadium, and later died from his injuries.
