Juan Pablo Montoya's Historic NASCAR Return
Juan Pablo Montoya is set to make a historic return to the NASCAR Cup Series at Watkins Glen International on September 15, driving the No. 50 car for 23XI Racing, co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin. This marks Montoya's first NASCAR appearance since 2014 and his 256th Cup start. Montoya has a rich history at Watkins Glen, including a 2010 Cup race victory. The Mobil 1-sponsored No. 50 car, which has been driven by Kamui Kobayashi and Corey Heim this season, will have Montoya behind the wheel for its final race of the year. Montoya expressed excitement about racing again at Watkins Glen and representing Mobil 1, a brand he was associated with early in his career. His return has been well-received by fans and marks a fitting close to Mobil 1's 50th anniversary celebrations in NASCAR.
