Trisha Yearwood Plans Nashville Concert Honoring Linda Ronstadt

Trisha Yearwood is organizing a concert titled 'Trisha Yearwood and Friends Celebrate Linda Ronstadt and Los Angeles Country-Rock' on July 22 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's CMA Theater in Nashville. The event will feature special guests including Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, James Taylor, and Patti Scialfa, and will honor the influential music of Linda Ronstadt and the Los Angeles country-rock scene from the 1960s through the 1980s. Yearwood expressed deep admiration for Ronstadt, citing her as a major inspiration for her own singing career and highlighting Ronstadt's unique blend of traditional country music with a distinct edge. The concert is co-produced by Yearwood and the museum and is connected to the museum's exhibit 'Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock,' which ends its run on September 1. Proceeds from the concert will support the museum's educational mission to preserve and interpret country music history. Tickets for the event go on sale May 16.
