Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman co-own Australia SailGP team

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have teamed up to co-own the Australian sailing team, the BONDS Flying Roos, which competes in the SailGP international sailing competition. This new partnership marks Jackman’s first venture into sports ownership, while Reynolds brings extensive experience from his investments in Wrexham AFC, Club Necaxa, La Equidad, and the Alpine F1 team. The team was recently rebranded following the announcement of a title partnership with Australia's iconic underwear brand BONDS. Despite personal controversies surrounding both actors, they remain focused on their new sporting investment, with Olympic gold medalist Tom Slingsby leading the team. SailGP is a high-profile global sailing league featuring 50-foot foiling catamarans and attracts notable investors including Kylian Mbappe and Anne Hathaway.
