Five Arrested in Soddy Daisy Human Trafficking Sting

A joint undercover operation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and local law enforcement in Soddy Daisy resulted in the arrest of five individuals on charges related to human trafficking and solicitation of minors. Agents placed decoy advertisements online to identify suspects seeking to engage in commercial sex acts, particularly with minors, and to rescue potential victims. Those arrested include Scott Elliot, Misty Harden, Hector Mendoza, and Daris Eubanks, with charges ranging from trafficking for commercial sex acts to solicitation of a minor and aggravated prostitution. Two victims of human trafficking were also identified and are now receiving support services through WillowBend Farms. Authorities emphasized that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
