Motorcyclist Killed in Naperville SUV Collision

A 26-year-old motorcyclist, Dante Fields of Woodridge, was killed in a collision with a 2024 VinFast SUV Thursday night in Naperville, Illinois. The crash occurred at the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Naper Boulevard when Fields was traveling eastbound on a 2024 Suzuki motorcycle at a high rate of speed and entered the intersection on a green light. The SUV was making a left turn from westbound Maple Avenue onto southbound Naper Boulevard, and the motorcycle struck the passenger side of the SUV. Despite life-saving efforts by police and fire personnel, Fields was pronounced dead at the scene. The Naperville Police Department is investigating the crash and has not filed any charges. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Naperville Police Department’s Traffic Unit.
