Despite struggling with a persistent groin injury that has hindered his quest to surpass the 90m mark, Chopra secured second place in Lausanne with a throw of 89.49m. He opted out of the Zurich meet, where Anderson Peters took the lead in the standings with 29 points, followed by Julian Weber with 21 points.
