Hall of Famer Grant Hill Joins NBC NBA Coverage

Grant Hill, a Hall of Fame NBA star and seven-time All-Star, will join NBC Sports as a lead game analyst for the NBA's return to NBC and its debut on Peacock this fall. Hill's 18-season playing career included stints with the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, and Los Angeles Clippers, highlighted by a gold medal at the 1996 Olympics and multiple All-NBA selections. Since retiring, Hill has built a respected broadcasting career, notably covering the NCAA men's basketball tournament for CBS and TNT, and he will continue those college basketball duties alongside his new NBA role. NBC's new 11-year agreement with the NBA includes a mix of broadcast and streaming coverage, featuring exclusive games on Peacock and the launch of Sunday Night Basketball in 2026. Hill's addition underscores NBC's commitment to reclaiming its historic basketball legacy, with a broadcasting lineup also featuring Mike Tirico, Jamal Crawford, and Reggie Miller, as well as special contributions from Michael Jordan. Beyond broadcasting, Hill holds significant roles in sports management and ownership, including managing director of USA Basketball’s men’s national team and part-ownership stakes in the Atlanta Hawks, Orlando City SC, and the Baltimore Orioles.
