Madame Tussauds Unveils New Kate Middleton Wax Figure London

Madame Tussauds London has unveiled a newly updated wax figure of Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, styled in the dusky pink Jenny Packham gown, silver Gianvito Rossi pumps, and the iconic Lover's Knot Tiara she wore at the annual Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace in December 2023. This tiara, more than 100 years old, was famously worn by Princess Diana and is a centerpiece of the figure’s ensemble, which also includes the Royal Victorian Order blue sash, the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II, and replica Greville Diamond Chandelier earrings. The wax figure update celebrates the Princess and Prince William's 14th wedding anniversary and is displayed alongside a restyled figure of Prince William, dressed in a black Ede & Ravenscroft tuxedo with a white bow tie. The creation of the figure involved a year-long effort by 12 artists and a five-month costume replication process to capture every detail accurately. This new figure continues Madame Tussauds' long-standing tradition of honoring the British Royal Family, with Kate's first figure debuting in 2012. Visitors can view the figures in the 'Royal Palace Experience' section of the museum, highlighting the couple’s role and presence in public life.
