Chiefs Tight Ends Wiley and Fortson Injured

The Kansas City Chiefs have faced significant setbacks with injuries to two of their tight ends. Rookie Jared Wiley tore his ACL during practice, ending his debut season after seven games, where he recorded one catch for seven yards. Additionally, veteran tight end Jody Fortson suffered a torn ACL and meniscus in the final moments of a game against the Las Vegas Raiders, placing him on injured reserve after three appearances and one catch for five yards. Fortson expressed gratitude for support and vowed to return stronger. The Chiefs have filled Fortson's roster spot by acquiring defensive end Joshua Uche from the Patriots.
