Kasen Thomas, a highly productive linebacker and running back from Sioux City's Bishop Heelan Catholic High School, has committed to play football for the University of Iowa as part of the 2026 recruiting class. Regarded as a three-star recruit and ranked among the top in-state prospects, Thomas chose Iowa over offers from schools including Iowa State, Nebraska, and Arizona, citing the Hawkeyes' strong defensive program as a key factor.
