Australia Wins ODI, Debutant Bartlett Shines

Australia won the first ODI against the West Indies by 8 wickets in Melbourne, with debutant Xavier Bartlett taking 4 wickets for 17 runs off 9 overs and Josh Inglis scoring 65 runs. Australia's bowlers, including Cameron Green and Adam Zampa, destabilised the West Indies' batting, resulting in them being bowled out for 231. Keacy Carty, who made 88, was run out after a mix-up with Hayden Walsh, causing further disruption to the West Indies' innings. Australia comfortably finished their chase with 38 overs remaining. The teams will face off again for the second ODI on 5th February.
