Erin King Wins Women's 15s Breakthrough Award

Erin King has made history by being named the Women's 15s Breakthrough Player of the Year at the World Rugby Awards in Monaco, becoming the first Irish woman to receive an individual honor at the event. The 21-year-old flanker had a remarkable year, including a standout performance against New Zealand where she scored two crucial tries in a 29-27 victory. King's achievements followed her transition from the Ireland Sevens team, where she also represented the country at the Olympics. Additionally, her teammate Aoife Wafer was recognized in the Women's 15s Dream Team of the Year for her excellent contributions throughout the season.
