Murfreesboro Crash Claims Life, Injures Four

A tragic two-car crash occurred on Middle Tennessee Boulevard in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, resulting in the death of 35-year-old Sylvio Victor and critically injuring a 5-year-old child. The crash, involving a Mazda MZ6 and a Nissan Rogue, happened Monday evening when the Mazda attempted a left turn, leading to a collision. The child, trapped in the Mazda, was extricated by firefighters and transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center in critical condition, while the female driver of the Mazda remains stable. The driver of the Nissan Rogue is also in stable condition and was taken to Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Murfreesboro Police are investigating the cause of the crash, including whether speed was a contributing factor. The incident led to the temporary closure of Middle Tennessee Boulevard as police conducted their investigation.
