Shudder Expands 'Season of Screams' for 10th Anniversary

Shudder has expanded its "Season of Screams" from an October slate into a four-month programming event running through year-end to mark the streamer’s 10th anniversary. The event mixes new originals, franchise entries and curated catalog titles, including the survival‑horror Dangerous Animals (2025) starring Jai Courtney as a shark‑obsessed killer who holds a surfer hostage on a boat, and the anthology V/H/S/Halloween, which comprises six found‑footage segments. Programming also features the Shudder Original Ghoul Log special with the Andujar Twins’ candlelit pumpkin visuals, live watch parties and returning series such as The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans and The Creep Tapes. Shudder’s Halloween curation pairs catalog favorites like Bride of Frankenstein, House on Haunted Hill and J‑horror Audition with festival‑style premieres and newly released trailers for key titles.
