Vauxhall Unveils MOKKA COFFE-E Concept Car

Vauxhall has unveiled the MOKKA COFFE-E, a concept electric vehicle designed for coffee lovers, featuring high-end coffee machines, a mini fridge, and storage for beans and pods. The vehicle includes a pull-out drawer for 'barista quality' tools such as scales, a Weiss Distribution Technique (WDT) tool, and an espresso tamper. With two coffee machine options—ground and pod—and a pull-out table for assembling drinks, the vehicle aims to enhance the coffee experience during charging breaks. Research indicates that 59% of EV drivers typically buy coffee while waiting for their vehicle to charge, with 77% intentionally stopping at chargers near coffee shops. Vauxhall has partnered with Cafeology to create coffee blends inspired by the car's design. This innovative approach reflects the growing trend of EV drivers planning their trips around coffee availability.
