Colts Add Mason Brooks, Release Derek Rivers

The Indianapolis Colts have signed offensive tackle Mason Brooks to their practice squad and released defensive end Derek Rivers to make room for him. Brooks, who went undrafted in 2023, adds depth at tackle following Bernhard Raimann's knee injury. Rivers, a former third-round pick, had been on the Colts' practice squad since September but has not played in a regular season game with the team. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers have added wide receiver and all-pro punt returner Jamal Agnew to their practice squad, bolstering their offensive and special teams depth after recently signing Mike Williams. Agnew, who has faced injuries in the past, was previously worked out by the Steelers while rehabilitating. Additionally, the Colts have promoted veteran wideout Laquon Treadwell to their active roster to provide depth amid injuries to other receivers.
