Dr. Seuss’ ‘Oh, The Places You’ll Go!’ Set for 2028 Release
Warner Bros. Pictures Animation has announced that the animated musical adaptation of Dr. Seuss's 'Oh, the Places You'll Go!' is set for an IMAX theatrical release on March 17, 2028. Directed by Jon M. Chu and Jill Culton, the film will be based on Dr. Seuss's final book, published in 1990. The screenplay is penned by Rob Lieber, with original songs by EGOT winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Produced by J.J. Abrams and Gregg Taylor through Bad Robot, the film is considered a 'high priority' project, developed in collaboration with Dr. Seuss Enterprises. The narrative follows a young adventurer navigating the challenges and triumphs of life in a vibrant, imaginative world. This marks another significant project for Chu, following the success of his adaptation of 'Wicked'.
