Maria Coto, a 56-year-old social worker from Westchester County, has died after being brutally beaten during a home visit in Peekskill last month. Coto was on life support following the attack by 31-year-old Haseem Jenkins, who has been charged with attempted murder and assault. Jenkins attacked Coto after she mistakenly knocked on his door, repeatedly punching and kicking her with heavy boots.
