Robert Downey Jr. to Star in The Hider Film

Universal Pictures is developing a film adaptation of Julianna Baggott's short story The Hider, with Robert Downey Jr. in talks to star. The project, which is in early development, will see Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, known for their work on Ant-Man and the Wasp, adapt the story. Downey Jr. will also produce the film through his company, Team Downey, alongside Susan Downey and Amanda Burrell, with Julianna Baggott serving as executive producer. The collaboration follows Downey Jr.'s Oscar-winning performance in Oppenheimer and his recent Emmy nomination for The Sympathizer. Details about the plot are being kept under wraps as the studio aims to replicate the success of their previous partnership.
