Jacob Fatu Returns, Attacks Drew McIntyre on SmackDown

Jacob Fatu, known as “The Samoan Werewolf,” had been absent from WWE television since late August 2025 after momentum that surged earlier in 2025 when he won the United States Championship at WrestleMania and turned babyface but later lost steam following title losses and limited TV appearances. He had remained active in dark matches and was widely expected to return imminently. Fatu made an unannounced SmackDown return, confronted Drew McIntyre, removed McIntyre’s medical boot and attacked him with it. The attack sets up a likely feud between Fatu and McIntyre heading into Crown Jewel.
