Russian Drone Attacks Kill 3, Injure 30 in Kyiv Residential Areas

For the second consecutive night, Russian drone attacks struck Kyiv, resulting in the deaths of at least three civilians and injuring around 27 to 31 people, including several children. The drones targeted residential areas in the Desnianskyi and Obolonskyi districts, causing fires in multiple apartment buildings and significant property damage. Emergency services rescued residents trapped in burning buildings and continue to provide medical aid to the injured, many of whom remain hospitalized. Ukrainian officials reported that out of approximately 101 drones launched, most were intercepted, but some reached urban areas and caused casualties. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have condemned the attacks and called for enhanced Western air defense support. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed skepticism about further summits with Russian President Vladimir Putin, despite ongoing diplomatic talks.
