IndiGo, Garuda Indonesia Plan Codeshare Expanding Regional Travel
Great Falls, Montana, is set to receive national exposure as the travel series LOST IN with DJ BBQ films an episode highlighting the town's unique local spots such as the Sip ‘N Dip Lounge and Roadhouse Diner. The show, which reaches over 91 million households through cable and streaming, aims to showcase hidden gems and stories from small towns, boosting tourism and positively impacting Great Falls' local economy. Shannon Newth, Content Director for Great Falls Montana Tourism, emphasized that collaborations like this enhance the area's visibility as a film- and visitor-friendly destination and support a renewed effort to welcome production crews. Separately, IndiGo and Garuda Indonesia have announced a codeshare agreement effective July 2025, improving air travel connectivity between India and Indonesia by offering single-ticket booking and access to 17 Indonesian and 7 Indian cities, facilitating easier travel for tourists and business travelers. This partnership enhances tourism opportunities between the two countries by connecting major hubs like Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Bali with new destinations. Finally, international travel enthusiasts are being encouraged to explore less traditional fall foliage locations, including Croatia's national parks, Japan's Koyasan, and France's Loire Valley, offering stunning natural and cultural experiences abroad.
