Four Arrested in Stratford Smoke Shop Investigation

Stratford police arrested three men following an investigation into illegal activities at S & T Smoke Shop, which began in May. Scott Marsillo, Raian Baniyounes, and Brion Henry Jr. face charges related to the sale and possession of controlled substances, with Baniyounes and Henry specifically charged with cannabis-related offenses. In a separate incident, four men were arrested at Cream Smoke Shop after police conducted undercover operations revealing illegal sales to underage individuals. The investigation at Cream Smoke Shop resulted in the seizure of 60 pounds of illegal cannabis and $7,000 in cash. Phillip Giacobbe, Byron Fernandez, Ariel Martinez, and Virack Korng were charged with possession with intent to sell cannabis, among other charges, and are held on $25,000 bonds. Both investigations involved multiple state agencies, highlighting a coordinated effort against illegal drug sales in Stratford.
