JATO, AutoGrab launch VINView Pro for used vehicle data accuracy

JATO Dynamics has launched VINView Pro, an advanced tool developed in collaboration with AutoGrab, aimed at providing precise and comprehensive vehicle information for the used car market. This new platform enhances JATO’s existing VINView by offering detailed build specifications and factory-fitted options for individual vehicles, addressing common challenges faced by dealers, fleet operators, and insurers. By delivering accurate data, VINView Pro seeks to eliminate issues like mispriced listings and incorrect valuations, which can arise from incomplete or misleading vehicle information. Users can access the system either through JATO’s Sales Link platform or via API integration, facilitating seamless integration into existing workflows. Paul Hilton, head of retail at JATO, emphasized the demand for such detailed specifications, while Chris Gardner, CEO of AutoGrab, noted the tool's role in refining valuation services and analytics. Overall, VINView Pro aims to improve transparency and accuracy in the used car sector, benefiting various stakeholders including dealerships and insurance companies.
