Sony, Legendary Cast Dastmalchian as M. Bison
David Dastmalchian has been cast as M. Bison in the upcoming live-action Street Fighter film co-produced by Legendary Entertainment and Sony, directed by Kitao Sakurai. The star-studded cast includes Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson as Balrog, Roman Reigns as Akuma, Orville Peck as Vega, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, and Callina Liang as Chun-Li. Dastmalchian will portray the leader of the criminal organization Shadaloo, with M. Bison confirmed as the film's central antagonist. The movie is planned for a 2026 theatrical release and is expected to feature multiple classic characters from the franchise. Previous reports suggested Walton Goggins was in consideration for the M. Bison role before Dastmalchian was cast. The Street Fighter franchise, first launched in 1987, has sold over 55 million units worldwide.
