In total, authorities arrested 33 individuals, including six minors directly involved in the stone-pelting and 27 others accused of inciting the violence. Surat Police Commissioner Anupam Gehlot confirmed the immediate deployment of police, who employed a lathi charge and tear gas to control the agitated crowd. Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi visited the scene and reassured residents that strict action would be taken against those responsible.
