NYPD Seeks Help Identifying Bronx Hit-and-Run Suspect
A hit-and-run incident in the Bronx's Williamsbridge area involved a man on a moped who struck a 3-year-old girl, Mylah Rojas, causing a fractured skull and other injuries. The accident occurred as the child was walking with her mother on Holland Avenue. The suspect, described as a heavyset man wearing an orange jacket, black sweatpants, and black sandals, fled the scene northbound after initially stopping and seeing the child's injuries. Surveillance footage captured the suspect, who later removed his jacket and was seen limping. The NYPD has released images and is seeking public assistance in identifying the man. The child was treated at Jacobi Hospital, and police urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
