FDNY's 'Calendar of Heroes' plans return for 2026

The FDNY's popular 'Calendar of Heroes' is making a comeback for 2026 after a three-year hiatus due to declining sales and the COVID-19 pandemic. The calendar, which features firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics, aims to highlight the health, fitness, and wellness of first responders while serving as a crucial fundraising tool for the FDNY Foundation. Chairman Matt DiLiberto expressed excitement for its return, noting the significant demand, and the calendar will be produced in partnership with Firehouse Subs. Participants have been invited to submit photos for selection, with a $25 donation securing a copy. The calendar will not only showcase the department's bravest but also emphasize the importance of diversity and wellness among first responders. The expected release is slated for late 2026, following summer photo shoots.
