Flock Safety Opens 97,000-Square-Foot Facility in Smyrna, Creating 210 Jobs

Flock Safety, a Georgia-based technology provider, has inaugurated a new 97,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Smyrna, which is expected to create 210 jobs and represents a $10 million investment. Governor Brian Kemp praised the company for exemplifying Georgia's supportive business environment, highlighting their commitment to community safety. The facility will produce public safety tools, including Drone as First Responder technology, and will also refurbish damaged devices and assemble solar panels. Currently employing over 250 people, Flock Safety's technology has been adopted by more than 300 law enforcement agencies and 100 businesses in Georgia. The company aims to reach full operational capacity by 2027, contributing to the state's leadership in the aerospace industry. Smyrna Mayor Derek Norton welcomed Flock's investment, emphasizing the city's potential for corporate innovation.
