First-Ever CBGB Festival Celebrates 50th Anniversary

The first-ever CBGB Festival will take place on September 27, 2025, at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic punk venue. Headliners Iggy Pop and Jack White lead a 21-band lineup, including the Sex Pistols with Frank Carter, Johnny Marr, Marky Ramone, The Damned, Lunachicks, Melvins, Gorilla Biscuits, the Linda Lindas, Lambrini Girls, and Pinkshift. The festival will feature three stages and immersive installations, such as the original club’s bar and stage, to honor CBGB’s influence on punk music. Discounted 'Young Punk' tickets for New Yorkers under 25 will be available for $73, marking the club's founding year. Tickets go on presale May 15, with public sales on May 16. The event aims to bridge punk’s historic legacy with contemporary acts in a gritty Brooklyn setting.
