Arapahoe Basin Ski Area in Colorado is set to open for the 2024/25 winter season on Saturday, November 2. Skiers will be able to enjoy the High Noon run, accessed via the Black Mountain Express, although the opening day is not suitable for beginners. The resort will feature giveaways, donuts for early guests, and a DJ to celebrate the occasion. Arapahoe Basin is also proud to announce that this will be its first full season operating at net-zero carbon emissions, following a successful sustainability initiative. Lifts will operate daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with plans to expand available terrain as snowmaking progresses. The resort aims to provide one of the longest ski seasons in Colorado by being the last to close.
