Fabio Di Giannantonio to Undergo Shoulder Surgery

Fabio Di Giannantonio, currently 10th in the MotoGP championship, will miss the final two races of the season to undergo shoulder surgery following an injury sustained in a collision during the Austrian GP in August. He plans to compete in the upcoming Australian and Thai Grands Prix before returning home for the operation, which he believes is necessary to ensure he is in peak condition for the start of the 2025 season. Di Giannantonio expressed regret over missing the end of the season but emphasized the importance of recovery for his future performance. He will remain with the VR46 team next year, transitioning to a factory-spec Ducati for the first time. Despite his injury, he remains hopeful for a strong finish in Australia, where he previously achieved his first podium in MotoGP.
