Westminster School Administrator Arrested for Child Exploitation

Tate Drane, a 27-year-old administrator at Mountain Range High School in Westminster, was arrested on Monday for allegedly sending inappropriate photos to an underage student. The Westminster Police Department acted on multiple reports received through the Safe2Tell anonymous reporting system over the weekend, leading to charges of sexual assault on a child by someone in a position of trust, internet sexual exploitation of a child, and internet luring of a child. Drane has been placed on administrative leave following his arrest and has worked for the Adams 12 school district since 2018. The police are continuing their investigation and encourage anyone with further information to contact them. The date for Drane's court appearance is yet to be determined.
