Hockey East Preseason Polls Released for 2024-25

As the 2024-25 ice hockey season approaches, several teams have been ranked in their respective preseason polls. Penn State's women's hockey team is ranked No. 12 in the USCHO preseason poll after winning the CHA title last season, and they will kick off their season against Northeastern on September 26. In the Hockey East, Boston University's women's team is ranked sixth, while Boston College's men's team leads the poll as the favorite after winning the previous season's title. The women's preseason poll sees UConn at the top, with Boston College placing third. Vermont's women's team is projected seventh, returning players from last season's squad. Both Vermont and Boston College's women's teams are set to begin their seasons on September 22 and September 28, respectively.
