Cheers Cast Hint at Potential Reunion

Ted Danson has given an update on a potential Cheers reunion, after the cast reunited at the 75th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Danson said: "Well, you know it's interesting... I've seen them recently, everybody, pretty much everybody." He added that while it was "really fun" seeing his former co-stars, he wasn't expecting them to reunite onscreen again anytime soon, commenting "a bunch of older folks" with differing opinions wouldn't work. At the Emmys, Danson was joined by Rhea Perlman, John Ratzenberger, Kelsey Grammer and George Wendt, while Woody Harrelson and Shelley Long were absent.
