John Force Racing Plans Return After TBI

John Force, a legendary NHRA driver, is recovering from a traumatic brain injury sustained in a crash, leading to his absence from the upcoming NHRA Northwest Nationals. His team plans to reintroduce his Peak Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet Camaro SS for competition, targeting the Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire event at Summit Motorsports Park. Robert Hight, the President of John Force Racing, is overseeing the return and the selection of a replacement driver post the Sonoma Nationals in July. The absence of Force and Hight due to health issues has prompted the team to find suitable replacements to compete in upcoming NHRA events, including the U.S. Nationals and the Countdown to the Championship in September.
