Salem County CART Earns National Certification

The Salem County Prosecutor’s Office Child Abduction Response Team (CART) has achieved national recognition by becoming the 34th team nationwide and one of only four in New Jersey to earn certification. Efforts to improve public safety include the redesign of a dangerous traffic corridor in Hoboken, which is open for community feedback. The First Responder Resiliency program now offers confidential support to emergency personnel. Community enrichment continues with a peach-themed market, Liberty Science Center summer camps, and a virtual event on Malcolm X’s legacy in Newark. The region is also marking the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. These developments highlight ongoing community engagement and public safety initiatives across New Jersey.
