No Injuries in Manchester Market Basket Crash

A 50-year-old woman from Massachusetts crashed her 2024 electric Toyota Highlander into five parked cars in the Market Basket parking lot on Elm Street in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Tuesday morning. The driver claimed a mechanical failure caused the vehicle to accelerate uncontrollably, resulting in significant property damage and the Toyota being declared a total loss. At least one vehicle overturned, but no injuries were reported, including to a minor present in one of the struck vehicles. Witnesses stated the driver tried unsuccessfully to brake before the collision. Emergency responders including police, fire, and ambulances attended the scene. Manchester police are investigating the incident and have asked anyone with information to come forward.
