The show also achieved a 0.23 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up from 0.22 the previous week. Despite this week’s increase, viewership has significantly declined compared to last year's Grand Slam episode, which had 984,000 viewers and a 0.36 rating in the same demographic, indicating a 29% drop in total viewers year-over-year. The latest episode's ratings were also affected by competition from a WNBA playoff game that averaged 2.54 million viewers. Noteworthy moments included the debut of MVP and Moxley becoming the number one contender for the AEW World Championship. AEW is gearing up for its 5th anniversary next week, which is expected to draw fan interest.
