Nuno Draws 1-1 in West Ham Debut
West Ham sacked Graham Potter after a poor start to the 2025–26 season and appointed Nuno Espírito Santo days later. Nuno reportedly signed a three-year deal, had only a couple of training sessions with the squad and made his debut away at Everton. In that match West Ham rallied from Michael Keane's 18th-minute header to earn a 1-1 draw thanks to Jarrod Bowen's second-half equaliser. The draw leaves West Ham second-from-bottom (19th) with four points from six games, and Nuno said there is 'a lot of work' to fix defensive frailties and build a clear identity. Nuno, who has prior experience steadying struggling teams, has been tasked with arresting the slide amid growing supporter unrest aimed at the board.
