ACU Football Team Bus Crash Injures Four

Four members of the Abilene Christian University football team were injured in a bus crash following their game against Texas Tech, where they lost 52-51 in overtime. The accident happened late Saturday night as the bus was leaving the Texas Tech campus, involving a collision with a truck and an SUV at the intersection of University Avenue and Marsha Sharp Freeway. A 19-year-old driver, Parker Young, was arrested on a drunk driving charge after crashing into the bus. All injured individuals, including one student-athlete, two coaches, and the bus driver, were taken to University Medical Center in Lubbock with minor injuries.
