Broadway Boy Recovers After 2025 Grand National Fall
Broadway Boy, a horse participating in the 2025 Grand National, suffered a severe fall at the 25th fence while leading the race. The fall raised concerns among fans and prompted immediate veterinary assessment on site. The horse, owned by Nigel Twiston-Davies, was treated and later walked onto a horse ambulance for further evaluation. Positive updates followed, with Willy Twiston-Davies, an assistant trainer, confirming that Broadway Boy was 'stiff and sore' but able to return home. Jockey Tom Bellamy, who was unseated during the fall, was hospitalized with a broken wrist. Celebre d'Allen, another horse involved in the race, also required veterinary attention but is reportedly recovering from heatstroke.
