Sting Signs Licensing Deal with AEW

Wrestling legend Sting has signed a multi-year legends deal with AEW, allowing him to make appearances without returning to the ring. Sting, who retired from in-ring action at AEW Revolution in 2024, confirmed this deal in an interview, describing it as a licensing agreement similar to WWE's Legends contracts. He expressed his love for real estate investment, a passion he pursued before his wrestling career. Sting last competed at AEW All In, where he and his tag team partner Darby Allin retained their titles before vacating them. Despite his retirement, Sting admits he will miss the thrill of performing but stands firm on not returning to wrestling. His new role will see him continue to be part of AEW in a non-wrestling capacity, contributing to the promotion in various ways.
