Multiple significant fires have recently occurred across the United States, with coordinated responses from various fire departments. In Linn County, Iowa, crews contained a challenging hay fire at an outbuilding on Midway Road, relying on tanker units due to the lack of nearby water sources. In New York, a deep-seated underground landfill fire in North Colonie was extinguished in under four hours with assistance from numerous volunteer and county fire agencies.
