Mark Ingram Among 2025 Alabama Hall Inductees

Mark Ingram, the first Heisman Trophy winner from Alabama, will headline the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame's Class of 2025, alongside seven other inductees. The induction ceremony is set for May 3, 2025, at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel. Ingram, who played for the Crimson Tide from 2008 to 2010 and later had a successful NFL career, is recognized for his significant contributions to Alabama football, including rushing for over 3,261 yards and 42 touchdowns. Other inductees include trailblazing tennis player Roberta Alison Baumgardner, NFL linebacker Keith Butler, and Olympic gold medalist Otis Davis. The selection was made by a statewide committee and marks the 57th class to join the Hall of Fame, bringing the total to 409 members. This announcement comes ahead of the College Football Hall of Fame's own announcement next month.
