Jisoo, Seo In-guk Headline Netflix K-Drama Series

Netflix has announced a new high-concept Korean romantic comedy series titled 'Boyfriend on Demand,' starring Blackpink's Jisoo and actor Seo In-guk. The series centers around an overworked webtoon producer named Mi-rae (played by Jisoo), who finds romance through a virtual reality dating program. Seo In-guk will portray Park Kyeong-nam, Mi-rae's colleague and rival, whose icy exterior hides deeper complexities. Directed by Kim Jung-sik, known for his adept handling of emotional storytelling, the show promises to blend romance and comedy effectively. This project is part of Netflix's continued investment in Korean content, following a successful slate of romance genre hits. Jisoo, transitioning from her pop star career, has also been expanding her acting portfolio with previous roles in 'Snowdrop' and 'Newtopia.'
