Micah Hudson Returns to Texas Tech Football

Micah Hudson, Texas Tech's first-ever five-star football signee, has returned to Texas Tech after a brief and troubled period at Texas A&M. Hudson initially played his freshman season at Texas Tech, recording eight catches for 123 or 124 yards while dealing with a lower leg injury. He transferred to Texas A&M but stepped away from their program after a short stint, before re-entering the NCAA transfer portal. In announcing his return, Hudson cited his connection to Lubbock and appreciation for the Texas Tech community, stating his desire to 'finish what I started.' Texas A&M has since bolstered its receiver corps and appears unconcerned by Hudson's departure. Hudson now aims to meet the high expectations set during his recruitment as he rejoins the Red Raiders.
