Suspect Pleads Guilty in Johnny Wactor's Death

Leonel Gutierrez, 18, has pleaded guilty to attempted robbery and grand theft in connection with the shooting death of 'General Hospital' actor Johnny Wactor. Gutierrez, one of four suspects, was not the shooter but faces up to nearly five years in prison and will be sentenced on November 1. The incident occurred on May 25 when Wactor confronted thieves trying to steal his car's catalytic converter, resulting in him being fatally shot by Robert Barceleau. Barceleau and another suspect, Sergio Estrada, have been charged with murder and face life in prison if convicted. A fourth suspect, Frank Olano, is charged with being an accessory after the fact. The suspects were arrested in August following an investigation that linked them to the crime through DNA and fingerprints.
